Hi fellow INFJS, got diagnosed with inattentive ADHD last month. I would like to know if anyone in the community has ADHD and what type? I have noticed INFJS are neurodivergent from my research. I'm obsessed with psychology so I have been reading articles and watching youtube videos on ADHD. Finding out I have ADHD has been a gift and curse but it has helped me to accept myself😊
Does anyone share the same sentiment about ADHD or have a different experience/views being neurodivergent?
Yes, I was a selfdeclared in- attentive ADD some months.. after I 'failed' some tests I let that thought go- but a lot of the advice and tools for living with ADHD helps me a lot. I think the "missing part" in my life has come from not paying enough attention to my Intuitive side. To accept that I need a lot of time to ruminate and discern between what is good for me and what my mind think is good for me.. unfortunately, my mind start to judge me quite fast.. that comes to mistakes I make also. I judge myself so hard for thiniest things I could have done better. And when I am in an unsecure situation my mind goes wild. Breathing, reconnecting with my body and tuning into - is 'that really true'.. that helps me to gain control over my actions and slowly realizing that I am in charge- not only my overthinking mind..
